What is millediem

Millediem (in latin mille - thousand ir dies - days) is a 1000 days. It's the same as Millenium - 1000 years.

Year is a time period in which earth turns arround the sun. Day is a time period in which earth turn around its own axis. It is common to celebrate years, decades, on these occasions we wake up and start thinking about running time, about posibilities, achievements, though the year is very hard to embrace in your thoughts. It is much easier to embrace one day, to think about what was planned and what was done. One day is really a big time period in which you can accomplish alot! The slogan of Millediem portal - Live every day!

Millediem occur every 2,7379(...) years, it is more infrequent than birthday.

What can you celebrate?

You can celebrate millediem of
  • birthday,
  • marriage or getting together,
  • various events,
  • housewarmings
  • anything you can think of.
Every person can find his own important dates.

How can you celebrate?

Everyone knows that main attribute of birthdays is cake with candles, we meet Christmas with Christmas tree, lights and fireworks.
Main attribute of millediem are baloons. You have to make a wish for the next 1000 days. You can write you wishes on the baloon, on a strip, or a note bounded to it, or you can just have it in your mind. And then you have to let it fly, you have to watch the baloon taking your wishes higher and higher, you have to go on thinking about your wishes as you watch them fly away. You need at least one baloon, of course it's best if you have as much of them as a number of your millediem.
